You need to be 17 to start learning to drive, also you need to have a valid provisional license before you can take your first driving lesson.You may also go on line to make your application.https://www.dvla.gov.uk/You may collect an application form for a driving licence (form D1) from your local post office. You will also need two colour passport size photographs. It must be taken against a white or light background and signed on the back by someone who has known you for at least two years e.g. Doctor, Bank Officer (not a relative). You will also need some identification such as a birth certificate or passport (photocopies are not acceptable).
